Ruth Green Design

prettyboy.jpg

There's something about the etchings, prints and paintings of UK artist Ruth Green that seems to make them cry out to be hung in the nursery. Bold, simple shapes, friendly creatures and beautiful patterns are played out across a select number of child-friendly themes such as trees, animals and fruit. You could do a lot worse than purchase a bunch of them and scatter them through your child's room, or through the entire house, come to that.

Ahhhhhhhhhh ... so pricey! Our nursery-to-be will have a slight peacock theme, and that peacock print would be PERFECT. Oh well, at least it's nice to know such perfection is out there. Thanks!

Click around - her prices vary, although, yes, the peacock is at the steeper end.

I know it all depends on what your budget is, but I always try to think of the artist actually trying to make a living; for something like this, £50 - 100 doesn't seem that outrageous to me, although obviously if you do go for several prints, it soon adds up.
