Designed For Kids

designed-for-kids

Avid readers of Babygadget will recognise many of the products on the cover of Designed for Kids, a new book from Thames and Hudson. Part art-book, part consumer guide, it treads very much the same path as we do here, but with added interviews with the people who are designing stuff for babies and children: a booming market which I suppose Babygadget's very existence both reflects, and owes a debt to.

It's definitely a book for all those parents interested in how designers design, and also in purchasing the very best on the market. I guess it's also a book that will be fascinating in years to come as we look back on a time of comparative parental wealth and consumer choice.
