Tassen - the easy stool

The Tassen is a classic piece of good Norwegian design from Ole Petter Wullum.

It's lightweight, has blunt edges and you can pretend it's a horse - what more could any kid want? The adults may be more enthralled that it's sturdy, good-looking, and comes in modern colours. Even the way it stacks is interesting - it reminds one of a log cabin or a game of Jenga, with its alternating directions. Nice.
