Wishbone Bike from Skip Hop

Now that we are making the leap from city life to country life (a whole one hour from the city - gasp!), the idea of getting a bike for our little one isn't such a crazy idea. There will be a yard. There will be a driveway. There will be storage space! Now, for something stylish looking that does the job of tiring out my child!

Skip Hop's Wishbone Bike looks like it will do just that. Starting at age one, your tot can push along using all three wheels to get used to feeling of "cycling". Once they've figured that out, make it a two-wheeler. Finally, as baby grows, flip the frame over so that your toddler is comfy up there.

Not only is the bike functional and easy on the eyes, it's also eco-friendly. The wheels are made of 60% post-consumer recycled plastic and the rest is made from sustainably managed woods, bonded and finished using eco-friendly products. Icing on the cake? The box and all printed material inside is recycled and printed with non-toxic inks. Almost makes the price tag ($249) less painful to look at.
