La Maison De Lena is one of those fun websites to visit, with animation and little creatures and a curious aesthetic that actually reflects this unusual range of French furniture rather well.

How to describe their stuff? Well, the saddle shape you see above seems to run through it, on chairs, shelves and benches - almost inviting one to sit down, even on pieces not made for sitting. Another common factor is that rattan, which can be painted in any colour you choose.

There are unexpected doublings-up, creating chairs for twins (or very close friends). And then there's the occasional extra surprise, like the cork dinosaur you can sit on.
