Michelle Mason cut-out rugs

cutoutblack_rug.jpg

I never would have thought of designing rugs with holes in them, and I fear that in all but the most scrupulous of households, lifting one up would reveal a neat pattern of biscuit-crumbs and dust. For decorative purposes, though, I have to say I like the cut of Michelle Mason's jib.

The rugs come in a more sombre choice of colours for adults, too, and while you're on her site, check out the bright lampshades and cushions, which also straddle that difficult divide between what kids like and what adults will enjoy.

I LOVE these rugs! I have seen a few felt cut-out rugs from Brocade (http://www.brocadehome.com), but not in these bright colors, which would be great for a nursery! Thanks for sharing Michelle Mason's rugs with us!
