Splat! The recycled chair for young artists

We've pretty much covered the trend for cardboard furniture and playhouses here on Babygadget, but here's an addition that's new to me: the so-called Splat chair.
Specially designed for kids who love to draw, it has niches for pens and pencils at the back, and a compartment below the seat for stashing away paper. This last would be welcome in our house, since those ever-increasing stacks of paper are a particular bugbear of mine
As well as cardboard, the design also rather cleverly incorporates re-used postal tubes. Pretty it may not be, but the whole thing is biodegradable, meaning that you can toss it on the compost heap when you don't want to look at it any more - or, just as likely, when it's been used until it's threadbare.

Thanks for reviewing this chair! We've just been approached by the V&A Museum of Childhood with a view to this chair possibly being exhibited, it really is a clever bit of design. Regards, Tabitha
