Hand crafted toy box

My new toy box arrived yesterday and it's really pretty great. First of all it's lovely, beautifully hand crafted from Baltic birch plywood by the folks at North Shore Woodcraft. It's also sturdy and functional, featuring solid dowel and glue construction, as well as Torsion Hinges, which hold the lid open at any angle to keep little hands safe. Available in a variety of eco-friendly milk paints or natural finish, it also suits myriad decors. I love the modern look, but don't let its sleek silhouette fool you. Because best of all, unlike many contemporary toy boxes that sport a much heftier price, this box is very roomy. Three different storage options: chest, shelf and cubby hold and organize all sort of baby debris. All and all it's a great deal.

One note: though it's not obvious from the picture, you can see some of the dowels. I think it looks fine, but if these things matter to you, the exterior is not quite as seamless as it appears.

Oh and another note: North Shore Woodcraft makes a pretty nice crib too, but you'll have to test this item out yourself, since my kids are past the age.
