Wrapture

wrapture

I'm rather taken with the Wrapture. This fleecy top wraps around and fastens with a single button, making it fast and convenient for either parent or child to do up. When the weather suddenly turns, or when you need to dress an over-exuberant tot, that sort of convenience could be priceless.

There are colourways for muted tastes or those who prefer to wrap their children in bright patterns; and there is even a 'luxury' fake fur version that any over-tired toddler should be glad to collapse into on a cold day.

It's really only the cost that is putting me off here. £35.00 is just a wee bit steep, even though the loose fitting means the garment should last a couple of years. Am I being parsimonious? What do you think?

What they lack in cuteness, they make up in unnecessary bulk. Anyone with a modest amount of sewing skills could make something extremely similar (and probably cuter, and less bulky) for considerably less money.
