Baby Flash Chairfix

Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto, the two founders of Eley Kishimoto, apparently started out as fabric print designers, but have since branched out into the world of accessories, homewares, crockery, and even phones. Sounds like a nice career path if you can get it.

Here's one of their 'flash collaborations' with a third designer, in this case, Ben Wilson. Wilson provided the flatpack design, Eley Kishimoto the pattern (which, truth to tell, I'm not all that keen on myself - but they seem to be, as it's available on a plethora of products, from motorcycle helmets to vest tops to canvas shoes).

That said, I always like a product that shows how clearly three dimensions can be born of only two. £80.00, plus shipping, and they'll deliver worldwide.
