Catherine Martin rug

Catherine Martin, in case you didn't know, is both partner and Production Designer to Baz Luhrmann. And he's the director best known, of course, for movies like Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet. So it stands to reason that if you fancy a little drama in your decor, this is the place to turn.

Now, I'm not looking too hard for the prices, because I imagine they're steep - first big clue: they're not mentioned on the website. But this rug (above) also looks like quality, and something that a child would come to adore as they were growing up. Her "Sparrows" wallpaper (below) - and you KNOW I can't stop looking at wallpaper these days - is also very enchanting.

Martin operates from Australia, but the website says their products are available all over the world, so a quick Google should show you your nearest retailer.
