Cool Tees for Boys (and Girls) from Two Blue Cars

About two years ago while at the Brooklyn Flea, I bought what turned out to be one of my son's favorite shirts from Two Blue Cars. This was before these purveyors of creative boys' tees even had a web presence. Now I'm happy to recommend them to lads outside the NY area.
Like many great kids' products, Two Blue Cars was born out of need. In this case the mom and dad designers were desperate for cool clothes for their boys that also incorporated their sons' interests. I'd say they succeeded in producing just that. Screen printed with the couples' original pen and ink drawings, these long and short sleeve tees and onsies are so much more interesting than your average vehicular garments. And as for my son who loves his digger shirt? He is at this very moment pleading with me to buy him the elasmosaurus. (When will I learn to stop writing these reviews while he is still up?!)

Thanks so much for this post! We saw a little boy wearing their bus shirt a few months ago my son went bananas. He HAD to have the bus. The boy with the shirt with his nanny who didn't know the source. I've been looking ever since and my son has a birthday coming up. So perfect. Thanks. Cool to see they are at the Flea and online now. Hello from Park Slope.
