Mamas and Papas Playmat

As a rule (so it seems) playmats are universally ugly. I don't even really like most European ones (gasp), even those by my usual favorites. But the Made With Love mat from UK co Mamas and Papas is rather nice. I like the subtle colors, still jolly and just saved from being a too saccharine by the bright orange accents. I also appreciate the craftsy, patchwork design motif. It still has a few bells and whistles: peak-a-boo mirror, detachable doll, as well as squeaky hangers - but thankfully no God-awful music! It's somehow a little more peaceful and pretty than most. The way baby's world should be.
