Emilia rag dolls by Floret

While browsing through, Weekend, my favorite Cape Cod shop, I chanced upon these folksy rag dolls by Floret. Designed by Brazilian costume designer Simone Kaplan, they're inspired by Emilia, a beloved childhood character created by writer and fellow countrymen Monteiro Labato. Handcrafted in Brazil using a lively patchwork of vibrant patterns, their rustic charm is further enhanced by braided fabric hair and embroidered details. Available in small or large, each Emilia is one-of-a-kind, making sure your child's new friend is all her own.

Also, available at What Every Baby Needs, Floret has a wonderful line of winsome animals and other dolls too, so do take a look. My favorite is this bear!

Sure you know The Little Experience with their handicraft sets for children. At kinuma.com, a spanish internet toy shop I've seen nearly the hole offer of TLE. Also have a lot of puppets and animals.
