Mala of Denmark

mala2.jpg

I have to admit that it was a grown-up woman's coat that first alerted me to Danish company Mala, and yes, I was drooling over it for myself. Clicking through to their main site, I saw that the lovely cowslip silhouette design that I'd so admired on the coat is one of a few staples that are replicated across their kids' designs too.

Unfortunately, they seem to follow that European websites' practice of only including drawings of their clothes on the site, which makes it somewhat hard to show you their full glory. But hopefully you can get the general idea: very simple, bold shapes in a variety of colours.
