Barley and Birch onesie

poppy-onesie

First-time pregnant ladies of my acquaintance have been drooling over beautiful onesies and gasping at how much they cost: it doesn't seem to help when you tell them they are likely to be changing their baby's outfit several times a day, and that after many washes, even the designer garb starts looking grey and frayed.

All the more reason a piece like this makes for an excellent present: you may wish to specify that it's for special occasions only. Pretty, isn't it? And it's not all about the looks, either: Barley and Birch make organic clothing right down to the inks they use.

It would be nice if everything in the wardrobe was this attractive - but at US$30.00 a time, that might be a dream reserved for the very wealthy. Or for those first-time mums. Second-time mums? Well, they don't seem to window-shop so much.
