Russell & MacKenna's 'Boardwalk' crib

boardwalk-crib

Russell & MacKenna is a small 'cottage industry' concern, located in Maryland. Their primary desire is to bring robust but witty pieces of furniture to the market, and they do so very successfully. Sadly, for many of us, the cost of a hand-crafted custom piece of furniture will be prohibitive, but for those who seek an investment piece to last through a few kids or even a couple of generations, you may just appreciate the fact that it can also express a little of your personality.

The Boardwalk crib, shown above, is one of their wide range of shapes and colours for kids, and starts at USD $2,500. We also featured one of their beds a while back.
