Lowres elephant light

elephant

"Lowres elephant?" I was thinking, "Is that pronounced a bit like a louring sky?" And then I realised it must be "low res", as in low resolution.

But there's nothing fuzzy or substandard about this, erm, thing. It's a lamp, it's a toy, it's a sculpture and it's a stool, all rolled into one. Sadly, as it appears to be simply a side-project of Dutch designers Gispen, it may not be available to buy.

It's got to be worth an enquiry, though. Can you imagine the impact this would have in the nursery? And how lucky would the child be who got to ride on their very own interior-lit enormous elephant? Admire it more on the Gispen website.
