Kickbee: tweeting from the womb

kickbee

Ok, definitely file this one under 'sign of the times'. Here's me still prevaricating over whether to buy the 5-year-old her own website domain, and it turns out that unborn children can now have their own Twitter account... well, practically.

The Kickbee is a band of material containing sensors, which the expectant mother can slip on. It'll send a tweet when the baby kicks - only to close friends and family, one hopes, rather than to the entire world, who might get bored of this even quicker that we tired of Foursquare tweets.

Cute idea, but not exactly high on the essentials list, I think it's fair to say.

Thanks to Duncan Birch for the tip-off.
