Vintage Fire Trucks - To the Rescue!

Did anyone see this at Three Potato Four? It's from an early century Coney Island boardwalk ride, and it's beyond fantastic! If I had a spare grand and the room for it, I would absolutely splurge on this rare ride. What a piece of history, what a conversation piece, what fun!

But alas fortune is working against me, so I thought well, gee, how can I get this look for a bit less. Voila, meet pedalcars.com. They have a whole line-up of vintage-style fire engines, ranging from $270 for this one:

to $80 for this one.

Mid range is this beaut at $190.

And the most affordable (at least amongst the ones that I deem to be stylish) is this eco-friendly version from ToyRus. It's not very vintage, but still quite cute.

Thanks for the inspiration Three Potato Four!
