Back to school scarves

You can feel it in the air - back to school season. It's more years that I care to remember since I left the school gates forever, but I really think that feeling, as September approaches, never leaves you. The anticipation of a new classroom, perhaps a new pencil case and new shoes...

Is this pencil scarf (above) from Sara Carr spelling it out just that little bit too unsubtly? I don't know: I rather like the idea of heralding the first frosty mornings with a thoroughly apt piece of neckwear - and I reckon that despite the touch of pink on the eraser, this'd be fine for girl or boy.

But if you prefer something less obvious, a flower scarf (above) is just as much of a treat and will keep little necks just as snuggly. The pencil is $66.00; the tulip $42.00, and shipping is just $5.00.

While you're there, check out Sara's beautiful tree cushions, too.
